Meet Matthew Gilman

Attorney Matthew Gilman understands the difficulties his clients face when their driver’s license is suspended or they are charged with an OUI/DUI.

Prior to opening his law practice, Attorney Gilman worked as a Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) hearings officer. During his time at the Registry of Motor Vehicles, Attorney Gilman conducted over 15,000 administrative license suspension hearings. Attorney Gilman reviewed hundreds of immediate threat requests from police and medical professionals across Massachusetts. Attorney Gilman knows the ins and outs of the Registry of Motor Vehicles and uses this knowledge to get his clients back on the road.

As a hearings officer he made decisions about whether thousands of people just like you were granted hardship licenses for OUI/DUI suspensions or not. Attorney Gilman knows the ins and outs of Massachusetts License Suspension Law and and most importantly how they relate to OUI/DUI Defense.

When your facing an OUI/DUI charge you need to know the consequences of every decision you make. You need an OUI/DUI Defense Attorney who specializes in license suspension law on your team.

Attorney Gilman is an experienced license suspension and OUI/DUI defense attorney. His practice areas include Massachusetts criminal defense, hardship license law. Attorney Gilman appears weekly at RMV license suspension hearings, before the Division of Insurance Board of Appeal hearings, and in courtrooms across every corner of the Commonwealth.
